When Workable applications pile up
- A widely posted job, too many resumes. A job posted far and wide attracts a lot of applications. Reading them all carefully takes hours the team doesn't have.
- Candidates reached too late. Between meetings, prescreening calls slip to the next day. The best candidates, meanwhile, already have other interviews.
- Notes that don't line up. Every recruiter and every manager takes notes their own way. When it's time to choose, you compare impressions more than answers.
How the Workable integration works
- You authorize the connection. During setup, an admin on your Workable account authorizes access from Delectus.
- Your jobs and applications arrive. Jobs, applications and resumes from Workable are synced into Delectus, read-only.
- You work with the agents. Resume analysis, prescreening, interviews and summaries happen in Delectus, against each job's criteria.
What Workable does, what Delectus adds
The two tools complement each other, step by step.
| Step | In Workable | With Delectus |
|---|---|---|
| Jobs | Creating, publishing and posting | The job's criteria guide the analysis and the agents |
| Applications | Receiving and tracking | Every resume read, ranked and explained |
| Prescreening | Left to the team to organize | SMS and voice agents, meetings in your slots |
| Interviews | Scheduling | Question kit, transcript, report by theme |
| Decision | The recruiter and the hiring manager | The recruiter and the hiring manager |
What is the Delectus Workable integration for?
Workable is a widely used recruiting software among small businesses and growing companies. It's used to post jobs, centralize applications and track their progress. The integration changes nothing about that. It adds, alongside it, a tool that does part of the work the ATS leaves to the recruiter.
In practice, every application received in Workable becomes a candidate profile in Delectus that AI has read. The resume is turned into a structured profile, compared with the job's criteria and ranked with a match score. For each score, you see the reasons: experience close to the role, a must-have skill found or missing, location. You know where to start without opening a single PDF.
Screen Workable applications without spending the week on it
For a company that hires fast, screening is often the bottleneck. Applications keep coming in, and each one deserves to be read with the same care. Delectus reads every resume as soon as it arrives and gives you a ranked list, which you go through by reading each profile's summary, its strengths and its gaps for the role.
When a profile catches your eye, the AI chat saves you from rereading the whole resume. You ask whether the person has worked at a startup, managed a team or used a given tool, and the answer is based on what the resume says. No candidate is set aside without you: the ranking helps you decide, it doesn't decide for you.
Prescreen Workable candidates by text or phone
For the candidates you shortlist, the SMS prescreening agent takes over. Its first message says it is an AI and asks for the candidate's consent. It then asks the job's questions, availability, expected pay, willingness to relocate, in a natural conversation. The conversation can also happen on WhatsApp.
If the candidate doesn't reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls them. If the call doesn't go through, you get an alert and take it from there. When the answers fit, the agent offers a meeting in your actual open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams. You find the conversation, the summary and the answers sorted by criterion in the candidate profile.
Prepared, comparable interviews
Each job gets an interview kit, with questions and scoring criteria drawn from the job description. The interview can be run by Alicia, the AI interviewer, for a first round, or by the recruiter by video in the platform, with a real-time transcript and suggested follow-up questions.
At the end, a report presents the answers by theme, technical skills, soft skills and motivation, with the passages from the interview that support each assessment. A hiring manager who wasn't in the interview knows what was said, and two candidates seen by two different people are compared on the same criteria.
What syncing with Workable leaves alone
The sync goes one way only. Delectus reads your jobs, your applications and the resumes, but writes nothing to Workable and changes no data there. Your ATS remains the system of record for job posting and administrative tracking, and your organization doesn't have to change.
The synced data is hosted in the European Union and is not used to train any model. It follows your retention periods, just like your ATS data.
Who is the Workable integration useful for?
It helps most in three situations:
- A small business hiring without a dedicated HR team, where the manager screens resumes between meetings
- A growing company opening several roles at once and receiving a lot of applications
- A recruiting team that wants more structured interviews without switching ATS

Does Delectus replace Workable?
No. Delectus works alongside Workable. You keep posting jobs and tracking applications in your ATS, and you use Delectus for resume analysis, prescreening and interviews.
Does Delectus change data in Workable?
No. The sync is read-only: Delectus reads jobs, applications and resumes, without writing or changing anything in Workable.
How do I connect Workable to Delectus?
During setup, an admin on your Workable account authorizes the connection from Delectus. Jobs and applications are then synced with no double entry.

Where is the data synced from Workable hosted?
In the European Union. It is not used to train any model and follows your retention periods.
