Once you've spotted a profile, the real work begins
- Finding out if the candidate is interested. A great profile is only useful if they're available and interested, and you have to reach them to find out.
- Running the interview and taking notes. Listening to the candidate while writing down what they say means missing part of one or the other.
- Reporting back to the client. Turning an interview into a clear presentation still takes an hour of writing.
How the Spott integration works
- Connection. An administrator on your Spott account authorizes Delectus during setup.
- Sync. Jobs, candidates and resumes arrive in Delectus, read-only.
- Prescreening and interview. The agents prescreen, the interview is transcribed, the submission gets prepared.
Spott integration: what it brings
Spott is recruiting software. The integration brings your jobs and candidates into Delectus, without changing anything in Spott, so you can move straight on to prescreening, interviewing and presenting.
Prescreening by voice and by text
The SMS prescreening agent often opens the conversation. It introduces itself as an AI, asks for the candidate's consent and asks the job's questions: availability, expectations, relocation, or any condition you set. Some candidates would rather talk; the agent can then schedule a call from the voice agent at the time they choose.
The voice agent holds a real phone conversation. It rephrases to check it understood, follows up when an answer is vague, and filters out background noise if the candidate is calling from the street. At the end, the transcript, the summary and the answers by criterion land in the candidate profile.
Every conversation is kept in the candidate profile, whether it happened in writing or over the phone. You can reread a text thread, skim a call transcript or replay a passage before calling the candidate back, and compare their answers with those of other candidates for the same role, criterion by criterion.
An interview you no longer have to take notes on
The interview takes place over video in Delectus. The question kit is prepared from the job, the transcript scrolls during the conversation, and the tool suggests follow-up questions on topics not yet covered. You stay focused on the candidate. At the end, a report analyzes the answers by topic, with quotes, and the recording stays available so you can go back to a passage.
For a first round, the interview can also be run by Alicia, the Delectus AI interviewer, at a time that suits the candidate. You then read the summary and decide what's next.
From interview summary to client submission
The interview report and the profile's AI summary form the basis of the candidate submission. It's generated in your format, reviewed, completed with your assessment, then sent to the client by link or as an export. The client reads facts and quotes rather than an impression.
AI interview or assisted interview: which one to choose?
The AI interview suits first rounds, when many candidates need to be seen quickly. Alicia runs the conversation at the time the candidate picks, asks the kit's questions and produces a summary you read afterward. You save hours of interviewing without giving up on seeing every candidate.
The assisted interview suits later rounds, or roles where the relationship matters from the start. You run the conversation, and Delectus transcribes, suggests follow-up questions and prepares the report. Both modes produce the same kind of summary, so you can compare candidates whichever mode was used.
Example: a first round for a sales role
For an inside sales role, twenty candidates have been prescreened by the agents. Rather than blocking two days for interviews, the recruiter offers candidates an AI interview. Each one takes it whenever they like during the week. The recruiter reads the summaries, keeps six candidates and meets them personally in an assisted interview.
Respect for candidates
The agents and the AI interviewer always identify themselves as artificial intelligence. Data is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models, and no decision is made without you.
