Hiring in France with a tool chosen elsewhere in the group
- Software configured for headquarters. The software was set up for the group's processes. The French team uses it, but screening and following up with candidates is still done by hand.
- Applications left waiting. Resumes come in on the jobs posted in France, and nobody has time to read them the same day. The good candidates accept offers elsewhere.
- Extra prescreening calls. Availability, salary expectations, mobility: the same questions for every candidate, over the phone, between two meetings.
How the softgarden integration works
- An admin authorizes the connection. During setup, whoever administers softgarden authorizes Delectus to read your recruiting data.
- Jobs and applications come in. Job postings, applications and resumes are synced into Delectus automatically, read-only.
- Your team works in Delectus. Resumes are ranked with their reasons, and the agents contact candidates and prepare interviews.
What does the softgarden integration bring a French team?
softgarden is recruiting software from Germany. In many groups, it's the shared tool across every country, and the team hiring in France uses it exactly as it was configured for everyone.
The integration changes nothing in that shared tool. Delectus reads the job postings and applications for your roles, then adds what a recruiter in France is missing day to day: a read of every resume against the role, quick outreach to candidates, and interviews that are prepared and written up.
Read-only: nothing changes in softgarden
The sync works in one direction only. Delectus reads your job postings, your applications and the resumes attached to them, but writes and changes nothing in softgarden. Statuses, stages and the data managed by headquarters stay exactly as they are.
That's often what reassures central HR teams. The group's system of record doesn't change, and the French team gets AI tools without touching the shared configuration.
Screen applications for your French jobs
Every resume that comes in on a job is read by the AI, compared with the role's criteria and ranked with a fit score. The score is explained criterion by criterion: a skill found in the resume, closely related experience, a compatible location. You see the closest profiles first, and you can check every ranking.
Applications from past jobs stay searchable in the Delectus candidate database. When a new role opens, matching past candidates are suggested to you, and you can query the database in plain language.
Prescreen candidates by text and by phone
For shortlisted profiles, the SMS prescreening agent texts the candidate, says it's an AI, asks for their consent, then asks the job's questions in French. If there's no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls. If the call doesn't get through, the recruiter is notified.
Answers are filed in the candidate profile, and when they fit, the agent offers an interview in your actual open slots thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook or Teams.
One candidate, several countries
In a group, a candidate may apply in both Germany and France, or come back later for a role in another country. In Delectus, each candidate profile keeps the history of their applications and your conversations, with your notes and tags. The French recruiter sees right away whether the person has been met before and where things stood.
For roles in France, the agents talk with candidates in French, and the interview report follows the same structure for every candidate. Group HR can read a report written in France without having to retranslate notes taken on the fly.
Prepare and run interviews
For each role, an interview kit brings together the questions and scoring criteria. The interview takes place on video in Delectus, run by the recruiter with help from the agent, or handed to Alicia, the AI interviewer, for a first round. The transcript is produced in real time and a report by theme follows the conversation.
The data stays hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models. The decision to move a candidate forward stays with the recruiter.
