Where recruiting takes time
- A complete HRIS, screening still done by hand. Applications are neatly organized in SuccessFactors, but every resume still has to be read by a recruiter.
- Technical roles that are hard to assess. For specialized jobs, the recruiter has to compare backgrounds they don't always know in detail.
- First conversations that take weeks. Coordinating calls between recruiters, managers and candidates stretches out every search.
How the SAP SuccessFactors integration works
- Connect during setup. An SAP SuccessFactors admin gives the go-ahead from Delectus. Your settings don't change.
- SAP SuccessFactors recruiting data arrives in Delectus. Jobs and applications are imported read-only, along with resumes.
- You find prescreened candidates. Explained rankings, prescreening answers and prepared interviews are waiting for you in Delectus.
What does the Delectus SAP SuccessFactors integration add?
SAP SuccessFactors is SAP's HR suite, used by many large enterprises. Its recruiting module manages jobs, applications and selection stages, connected to the rest of the HR information system.
A recruiting module built into an HRIS of this size brings consistency and traceability, but it doesn't do the selection work. Delectus adds to it without touching your configuration: applications are imported read-only, read and ranked by AI, then shortlisted candidates are contacted by the prescreening agents.
For an HR department, the benefit is twofold. Recruiters save time on repetitive stages, and candidates are assessed on the same criteria from one business unit to another, with explained rankings that can be checked. The process defined in SAP SuccessFactors remains the reference.
How AI reads SAP SuccessFactors applications
The AI doesn't look for exact keywords. It compares backgrounds and skills to the job's criteria, which surfaces a candidate even when they described their experience in different words. For each candidate, you see the score broken down criterion by criterion.
The reading is there to save you time, not to decide for you. You're free to move forward with a candidate ranked lower, and the candidate profile keeps your notes, your tags and the conversation history.
Prescreen by text and by phone
For shortlisted candidates, the SMS prescreening agent sends a first message, introduces itself as an AI and asks for the candidate's consent. It then asks the job's questions in a real conversation, follows up when an answer is vague and spots answers that contradict each other. The conversation can also happen on WhatsApp.
If there's no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls the candidate. If the person still can't be reached, you're notified and you take over. When the answers fit, the agent offers a meeting in your real open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams.
Example: a manufacturer hiring maintenance technicians
A manufacturing group posts technician roles for three plants in SuccessFactors. Delectus compares each resume to the job's criteria, including the required certifications, and explains its ranking. Shortlisted candidates get a text from the prescreening agent, which checks the site, shift hours and start date. Each plant manager gets candidates ready for the technical interview.
Interviews supported from start to finish
Interview questions are prepared from the job, with their scoring criteria. During the video call, the transcript scrolls by and the tool suggests follow-up questions on topics not yet covered. The write-up by topic is ready at the end, and the recording stays available to listen back.
Read-only SAP SuccessFactors integration: your data stays protected
Nothing is changed in SAP SuccessFactors. Delectus only picks up what relates to recruiting, meaning jobs, applications and resumes, and leaves your employees' HR data aside.
The imported information is hosted in the European Union and isn't used to train any model. Candidates know they're talking with an AI, and none of them is set aside without a human decision.
