Oracle HCM integration: AI on the hiring in your HRIS

The Delectus Oracle HCM integration picks up the jobs, applications and resumes from your recruiting module so AI can handle them as soon as they arrive. Each resume is read and ranked, shortlisted candidates are prescreened by text or phone, and your interviews are prepared, without changing anything in your HRIS.

The agents take it from there

  • Resumes read, ranked and explained
  • SMS screening agent
  • Voice prescreening agent
  • AI-led or assisted interview
Job postings, applications and resumes from Oracle HCM flow into Delectus. Nothing is changed in Oracle HCM: you keep your ATS exactly as it is.

What the recruiting module doesn't do for you

  • Applications spread across subsidiaries. Each business unit opens its own roles, and recruiters juggle very different volumes from one job to the next.
  • An internal and external talent pool that goes unused. Candidates already met for other roles aren't contacted again when a similar job opens.
  • Interviews that are hard to compare. From one recruiter to the next, interview notes have neither the same format nor the same criteria.

How the Oracle HCM integration works

  1. You authorize the connection. During setup, an Oracle HCM admin authorizes Delectus to read your jobs and applications.
  2. Applications arrive in Delectus. Jobs, applications and resumes are imported automatically, read-only: nothing is changed in Oracle HCM.
  3. The agents take over. Each resume is compared to the job, then the prescreening agents contact the candidates you pick.

What does the Delectus Oracle HCM integration add?

Oracle HCM is Oracle's cloud HR suite, adopted by large organizations that use it to manage employees, payroll and talent. Recruiting is handled there alongside the rest of the employee lifecycle.

When recruiting is part of a complete HR suite, the goal isn't to switch tools but to lighten the recruiters' workload. Delectus reads the jobs and applications in Oracle HCM, without writing anything to it, and takes on what eats up the most time: screening resumes, reaching out to candidates and preparing interviews.

For an HR department, the benefit is twofold. Recruiters save time on repetitive stages, and candidates are assessed on the same criteria from one business unit to another, with explained rankings that can be checked. The process defined in Oracle HCM remains the reference.

Screen Oracle HCM applications without rereading everything

Each resume imported from Oracle HCM is read by AI and compared to the job's criteria. You get a ranking where every candidate has a fit score and its reasons: experience close to the role, a must-have skill found in the resume, a compatible location.

No candidate is set aside without you. The ranking helps you read the closest candidates first, and a summary sums up each one's strengths and gaps. If you have a specific question about a candidate, the AI chat answers it from the resume.

Candidates contacted while you handle everything else

The SMS prescreening agent texts the candidates you shortlist. It says it's an AI, gets their consent, then checks the job's key points: availability, expectations, commute, working conditions. It adjusts its tone to a hesitant or a hurried candidate, and the conversation can also happen on WhatsApp.

A candidate who stays silent after two follow-ups gets a call from the voice prescreening agent, which holds a real phone conversation. The answers land in the candidate profile sorted by criterion, with the call transcript, and you're notified as soon as a candidate replies.

Example: a retail group hiring department managers

A group opens about ten department manager roles in Oracle HCM. Delectus ranks the applications and also suggests past candidates from the database who fit, with their reasons. Shortlisted candidates are prescreened by text, then met over video with a shared interview kit. Each recruiter ends up with a report by topic, and decisions are made on the same criteria across the whole group.

AI interview or assisted interview

Depending on the role, the first interview can be run by Alicia, the Delectus AI interviewer, at a time that suits the candidate, or by the manager over video with the agent transcribing and suggesting follow-up questions. Either way, the same kit of questions is the starting point and the final report covers the candidate's answers.

Oracle HCM integration: your HR data stays untouched

The connection is read-only and covers recruiting only. Delectus picks up your jobs, applications and resumes without writing anything to Oracle HCM. Your employee records, payroll and the rest of your HRIS stay outside its scope.

The imported data is hosted in the European Union and isn't used to train any model. It follows your retention periods, and the hiring decision always stays with your teams.
