When hiring runs through headquarters' HR tool
- A tool built for payroll. The recruiting module does its tracking job, but reading resumes and first conversations are still left to the local team.
- Applications in French. Resumes received for roles in France have to be read and understood by someone who knows the local market.
- Little time for calls. A small HR team in France handles both admin and hiring, and prescreening calls come last.
How the Paycor integration works
- You authorize the connection. During setup, an admin on your Paycor account authorizes Delectus to read your jobs and applications.
- Applications arrive in Delectus. Jobs, applications and resumes are imported automatically, read-only: nothing is changed in Paycor.
- The agents take over. Each resume is compared to the job, then the prescreening agents contact the candidates you pick.
What does the Delectus Paycor integration add?
Paycor is American payroll and HR management software with a recruiting module. It often shows up at the French subsidiaries of North American groups, where hiring follows the tool chosen by headquarters.
Delectus doesn't replace Paycor. It adds to the recruiting side to handle part of the work the tool leaves to the team: reading resumes, reaching out to candidates and preparing interviews. You keep Paycor for everything else.
The connection is read-only. Delectus picks up your jobs, applications and resumes but writes nothing to Paycor: your records and statuses stay as they are. The imported data is hosted in the European Union, isn't used to train any model and follows your retention periods. The decision stays with your teams.
A French subsidiary hiring with its group's tool
In many groups, the HR software is chosen at headquarters. The French subsidiary inherits a solid tool for payroll and admin, with a recruiting module that tracks applications without processing them for you.
That's where Delectus comes in. Jobs and applications entered in Paycor arrive in Delectus, where resumes are read in French, compared to the role and ranked with their reasons. The local team keeps the group's tool and gets back the time it spent screening.
Screen Paycor applications without rereading everything
Each resume imported from Paycor is read by AI and compared to the role's criteria. You get a ranking with, for each candidate, a fit score and its reasons: similar experience, a must-have skill found in the resume, a compatible location. A summary sums up their strengths and gaps.
Imported applications also grow your candidate database. When a new job opens, the tool suggests past candidates who fit it, and you can search your database in plain language, then narrow it down by experience, skills or location.
Prescreen by text and by phone
For the candidates you shortlist, the SMS prescreening agent sends a first message, introduces itself as an AI and asks for the candidate's consent before asking the job's questions. It understands free-form answers, follows up when an answer is vague and spots answers that contradict each other. The conversation can also happen on WhatsApp.
If there's no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls. If the person still can't be reached, you're notified and you take over. The answers come in sorted by criterion, and when they fit, the agent offers a meeting in your real open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams.
Example: three roles open at once in Lyon
A French subsidiary opens an accountant role, a technician role and a sales assistant role. The job ads are posted from Paycor, as group procedure requires. Applications arrive in Delectus and are ranked role by role.
The SMS prescreening agent texts shortlisted candidates to check their availability and expectations. Those who don't reply get a call from the voice agent. By the end of the week, the HR manager has a short list for each role and interviews already booked in her calendar.
Prepared, comparable interviews
For each role, Delectus prepares an interview kit with questions and scoring criteria drawn from the job. The interview can be run by Alicia, the AI interviewer, or by you over video, with a live transcript and suggested follow-up questions. The report by topic that follows lets you compare candidates on the same criteria.
