Loxo integration: from search to shortlist, with AI agents

The Loxo integration brings the jobs and candidates your agency tracks in Loxo into Delectus. Delectus reads them, ranks them against each assignment and has its agents prescreen the shortlisted profiles, so your recruiters get to a solid shortlist faster.

Delectus AI

The agents take it from there

  • Resumes read, ranked and explained
  • SMS screening agent
  • Voice prescreening agent
  • AI-led or assisted interview
Job postings, applications and resumes from Loxo flow into Delectus. Nothing is changed in Loxo: you keep your ATS exactly as it is.

What slows an assignment down, even with Loxo

  • Too many profiles for one person. A well-run search surfaces a lot of candidates. Telling them apart takes reading time the recruiter spends away from clients.
  • Strong candidates you can't reach. A promising profile is only worth something if they're available and interested. Checking that often takes three calls and two messages.
  • Submissions to reformat. Every shortlist goes to the client in a format that has to be redone, with the interview summary added by hand.

How the Loxo integration works

  1. Connection authorized. An administrator on your Loxo account grants access from Delectus during setup.
  2. Read-only sync. Assignments, candidates and their resumes arrive in Delectus. Loxo is never changed.
  3. The agents take it from there. Ranking, prescreening, the interview and the client submission then happen in Delectus.

What does the Loxo integration actually do?

Loxo is a recruiting platform that combines candidate tracking and candidate relationship management, used in particular by agencies. The integration doesn't try to redo what Loxo already does. It takes your assignments and candidates and applies the work Delectus automates.

In practice, every candidate attached to an assignment is read by AI, compared with the job description and ranked with the reasons behind it. The data stays untouched in Loxo: Delectus reads it, it doesn't write it.

Going from a long list to a shortlist

For a VP of Sales role, a search can turn up sixty or so names. In Delectus, you first see those whose background fits the assignment, with the reason for their place on the list: the same industry, a team of comparable size, experience launching into a new market.

The AI summary of each profile sums up their strengths and gaps for this specific role. Before a call, the AI chat answers your questions about the resume, like "has he ever managed a distributor network?", based on what's actually written.

Checking candidate interest without spending the day on it

For shortlisted profiles, the SMS prescreening agent makes first contact. It states that it's an AI, asks for the candidate's consent, checks their interest in the assignment, their availability and their expectations, and adapts its tone to someone who's employed and replying between meetings.

If the messages go unanswered, two reminders go out, then the voice prescreening agent calls. As a last resort, the recruiter is alerted. When the candidate is interested, the agent offers a time slot taken from the recruiter's real calendar.

Consistent client submissions for the whole shortlist

After the interview, held over video in Delectus with a live transcript and a report organized by topic, the candidate submission is generated in the agency's branding. The recruiter adds their assessment, proofreads, and sends the shortlist in one go, as an export or a share link that needs no account.

Every submission keeps its versions. If the client asks what was sent to them last week, the answer is in the history.

Example: a VP of Sales search handled end to end

A client hands the agency a VP of Sales search for a mid-sized manufacturing company. The recruiter creates the assignment in Loxo and attaches the candidates they've identified. In Delectus, those profiles arrive already ranked: at the top, the ones who have led a sales team in manufacturing, with the reason written next to each name.

The recruiter picks twelve candidates. The SMS prescreening agent texts them in the afternoon; seven reply that same evening, two more after a reminder, and the voice agent calls the last three the next day. By the end of the week, the recruiter has run five video interviews, read the topic-by-topic reports and sent the client three submissions built on the same template.

None of this changed the assignment in Loxo. The recruiter updates their stages there as usual, and what Delectus mostly gave back was the time spent reading, chasing and writing.

Loxo integration and GDPR

Data copied from Loxo is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models. The agents always state that they're an AI, and no decision about a candidate is made without the recruiter.

Frequently asked questions

Does Delectus replace Loxo?

No. Loxo remains your tracking tool. Delectus works alongside it to rank candidates, prescreen them and prepare interviews and submissions.

Does Delectus write to Loxo?

No. The sync is read-only. Your records, assignments and statuses in Loxo are not changed.

How do I connect Loxo to Delectus?

An administrator on your Loxo account authorizes the connection from Delectus during setup. Assignments and candidates then arrive automatically.

Can the SMS agent contact candidates who are currently employed?

Yes. It starts by checking their interest and availability with short messages. The candidate can end the conversation at any time.

Can submissions sent to clients be anonymized?

Yes. The candidate submission can be shared without the candidate's name or contact details.
