When JobAdder is overflowing with applications
- Job ads that draw a crowd. A well-distributed job brings in dozens of profiles. Reading them one by one takes hours a recruiter doesn't have between client meetings.
- Prescreening done over the phone. Availability, pay expectations, relocation: the same questions asked of every candidate, often after several missed calls.
- A talent pool that grows without being used. Candidates from past assignments stay in the database, but nobody has time to look them up when a similar assignment comes in.
How the JobAdder integration works
- You authorize the connection. An administrator on your JobAdder account grants access from Delectus during setup.
- Data arrives on its own. Job postings, applications and resumes are copied into Delectus. Nothing is written or changed in JobAdder.
- You work with the agents. Resume ranking, prescreening by text or phone, interviews and submissions then happen in Delectus.
What is the Delectus JobAdder integration?
JobAdder is recruiting software used by agencies and in-house recruiting teams to track their jobs and candidates. The integration links your account to Delectus so that data is available there with no export and no double entry.
The sync runs one way. Delectus reads your job postings, applications and attached resumes, then analyzes them. Your JobAdder database stays exactly as it is: no record is changed and no status is updated on our side.
Screening JobAdder applications with an explained score
Every incoming resume is read by AI and compared with the job's criteria. You get a ranking with, for each candidate, a match score and the reasons behind it: experience close to the role, a must-have skill present or missing, a compatible location.
The recruiter no longer reads forty resumes to keep five. They start with the top-ranked profiles, check the reasons given, and can open a summary of each candidate's strengths and gaps. For a more specific question, the AI chat searches the profile for them, for example to find out whether the candidate has worked in the client's industry before.
Getting candidates prescreened by text and phone
Once the list is narrowed down, the SMS prescreening agent texts the candidates. It introduces itself as an AI, asks for their consent, then asks the job's questions in a natural conversation. If an answer is missing or two answers contradict each other, it follows up.
If there's no reply after two reminders, the voice prescreening agent calls the candidate. If the call doesn't connect, you're alerted and take over. When the answers check out, the agent offers an interview in your real open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams.
Bringing past JobAdder candidates back into play
Synced candidates join the Delectus candidate database, where you search in everyday language rather than exact keywords. "Accounts payable specialists, Lille area, comfortable with SAP" is enough to surface similar backgrounds, even when they're described in other terms.
With every new job, the tool also suggests matching past candidates on its own. A finalist turned down six months ago for another assignment can become the first person to call.
Agency or in-house team: two ways to use JobAdder with Delectus
At an agency, the integration is mostly about speed between the assignment and the shortlist. An assignment's candidates are ranked as soon as they arrive, the best ones are contacted by the agents the same day, and the recruiter presents consistent submissions to the client, whichever colleague worked the assignment.
For an in-house recruiting team, the challenge is more about volume and fairness. Every candidate for the same role is read against the same criteria, gets the same prescreening questions and hears back quickly. The hiring manager gets a structured interview report instead of handwritten notes, and can compare finalists on facts.
Either way, JobAdder stays the system of record. Delectus handles the repetitive work around it, and the decision stays with the recruiter.
Preparing the interview and the client submission
The interview can take place over video in Delectus, with a question kit drawn from the job and a live transcript. At the end, a report lays out the answers by topic, with quotes. The candidate submission for the client is generated from the profile and the interview, reviewed by the recruiter, then sent as an export or a link the client opens without an account.
Frequently asked questions
Does Delectus replace JobAdder?
No. Delectus works alongside JobAdder. Your jobs and candidates are still managed in JobAdder, and Delectus adds resume analysis, prescreening and interview preparation.
Does Delectus change data in JobAdder?
No. The sync is read-only: Delectus reads job postings, applications and resumes without writing anything to JobAdder.
How do I connect JobAdder to Delectus?
An administrator on your JobAdder account authorizes the connection from Delectus during setup. Job postings and applications then arrive automatically.
Do candidates know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. The SMS agent and the voice agent introduce themselves as artificial intelligence in the very first message or the first seconds of the call, and ask for the candidate's consent.
Where is the data synced from JobAdder hosted?
In the European Union. It's never used to train models, and the decision on every candidate stays with the recruiter.
