The time lost between stages
- Applications waiting to be read. An application that arrives on Monday may not get read until the end of the week.
- Slots that are hard to book. Finding an interview time often takes several rounds of email.
- Uneven interview notes. Depending on the person and the day, interview notes are more or less complete.
How the Laura integration works
- Connection. During setup, a Laura admin authorizes the connection from Delectus.
- Sync. Job postings, applications and resumes come in automatically, read-only.
- Screening. The agents read, reach out and prepare; your team decides.
What is Laura?
Laura is recruiting software from Finland, used by employers to post their jobs and track their applications.
With the Laura integration, Delectus pulls in those applications to handle selection. Your job ads, stages and habits in Laura stay the same.
Resumes read the moment they arrive
Delectus reads each resume as it comes in and turns it into a structured profile, with experience, skills, education and location. The profile is compared with the job, and the recruiter sees a ranking with its reasons rather than a list to go through in order of arrival.
For a specific question, the AI chat queries the profile for you, and the answer is based on the resume.
When a new job is posted in Laura, the tool also suggests matching past candidates from your database. A finalist from a previous search can be contacted again before the new applications even come in.
From first message to booked interview
The SMS prescreening agent contacts shortlisted candidates. It introduces itself as an AI, gets their consent, then asks the job's questions in a natural conversation. When the answers fit, it offers an interview in the recruiter's actual open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook or Teams. The candidate picks a time, with no email back-and-forth.
Candidates who can't be reached by message get two follow-ups, then a call from the voice prescreening agent. If the call doesn't get through, the recruiter is notified.
The agent also adapts its tone to the person: more direct with a candidate in a hurry, more explanatory with a hesitant one. It spots an answer that contradicts another and asks for clarification rather than leaving an inconsistency in the candidate profile.
Setting up the Laura integration
Whoever administers Laura authorizes the connection from Delectus. Job postings and applications then come in on their own, with no manual export or import. For a first job, you review the criteria the AI will apply, choose the prescreening questions and check the first rankings.
Once the settings are approved, the team keeps posting jobs in Laura as before. The difference shows after posting: applications are read as soon as they arrive, shortlisted candidates are contacted by the agents, and interviews are booked into recruiters' open slots.
Which searches is it for?
Searches that get lots of applications, those where specific requirements need checking fast, and those where managers expect comparable reports. In every case, the AI prepares and the recruiter stays in control of each candidate.
Interviews written up accurately
The interview can take place on video in Delectus, with an interview kit prepared for the role. The transcript is produced in real time, and the final report analyzes the answers by theme, quoting the candidate. Data is hosted in the European Union, and the decision stays with your team.
For a first round, the interview can also be run by Alicia, the Delectus AI interviewer. The recruiter reviews the report, listens to a passage if needed, and decides who moves on to the next round.
