Hiring alongside everything else
- Recruiting is only part of the HR job. When the same team also handles onboarding and employee follow-up, application screening often comes last.
- Candidates contacted late. First calls happen when there's time left over, rarely the same day.
- Little record of interviews. Notes stay in notebooks or files and are hard to share with the manager.
How the Emply integration works
- Connection. During setup, an Emply admin authorizes the connection from Delectus.
- Sync. Job postings, applications and resumes come in automatically, read-only.
- Screening. The AI ranks and explains, the agents prescreen, and interviews are transcribed and summarized.
What is Emply?
Emply is software from Denmark that covers recruiting and part of a company's HR management.
The Emply integration lets you keep that whole setup as it is. Delectus reads job postings and applications to handle selection, without touching the company's other HR data.
What the Emply integration changes for a small HR team
The first gain is in screening. Every resume is read and compared with the job as soon as it arrives, and the team sees an explained ranking instead of a chronological list. The profiles closest to the role are handled first, each with a summary of strengths and gaps.
The second gain is in outreach. The SMS prescreening agent texts shortlisted candidates, introduces itself as an AI, asks for their consent and asks the job's questions. If there's no reply, two follow-ups go out, then the voice prescreening agent calls. If the candidate still can't be reached, the HR team is notified.
Past candidates aren't lost either. When a new job comes in from Emply, Delectus suggests matching people from your database, with their score and reasons. For a role that opens up regularly, it's often the fastest source.
Share the interview with the manager
Interviews can take place on video in Delectus. The transcript is produced in real time, the agent suggests follow-ups on points not yet covered, and a report by theme is ready at the end. The manager reads it before the decision meeting, and candidates are compared on the same criteria.
The manager can also reread a specific part of the transcript or listen to the recording again if in doubt. Tasks can be shared across the team, for example asking the manager's opinion before getting back to a candidate, without piling up internal emails.
Setting up the Emply integration
Whoever administers Emply authorizes the connection from Delectus, and job postings and applications then come in automatically, with no data entry. You pick a first job to fine-tune the criteria and prescreening questions, then check the first rankings, which all come with their reasons.
For an HR team that also handles the rest of employees' working lives, the point is not to add work. Candidates are contacted by the agents, interviews are booked into open slots thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook or Teams, and the team steps in when its judgment matters.
Example: a technician role in France
A Nordic company opens a maintenance technician role near Lyon. Applications arrive in Emply, then in Delectus, where they're ranked. The SMS agent texts shortlisted candidates in French to check their certification, travel area and availability. The local manager gets a short list of prescreened candidates, with their answers.
Hiring in France with a Nordic tool
A company using Emply may have teams in France or Belgium. Delectus talks with candidates in French, reads resumes in several languages and hosts data in the European Union. Resumes and conversations are never used to train models, and the decision always stays human.
