Hiring in France inside an international group
- A tool chosen by headquarters. The French subsidiary uses the group's platform, which isn't necessarily built around local habits.
- Candidates who expect to talk in French. The first contact has to feel natural to a French candidate, with the questions that matter locally.
- A small local team. A few people handle hiring in France, often for several stores or sites.
How the Gupy integration works
- Connect. An admin on your Gupy account authorizes Delectus to read the subsidiary's jobs and applications.
- Read-only import. Applications and resumes arrive in Delectus. Nothing is changed in Gupy.
- Prescreening in French. The agents talk with French candidates and sort their answers.
The Gupy integration for a French subsidiary
Gupy is a recruiting platform that originated in Brazil, used by groups that hire in several countries. When a French subsidiary works with it, Delectus adds the local layer. French applications are read by AI and compared to the job's criteria, with an explained score, then shortlisted candidates are contacted in French.
The group keeps its tool and its data. The subsidiary saves time on screening, first conversations and interview prep.
Example: sales associates for store openings
An international retailer is opening three stores in France and needs to hire sales associates and department leads. The subsidiary's jobs are posted from Gupy. Delectus picks up the French applications and surfaces the ones with in-store retail experience.
The SMS prescreening agent texts shortlisted candidates, in French, to find out which store they're interested in, their Saturday availability and their start date. Store managers get their prescreened candidates and run interviews with a shared set of questions, which makes comparisons easier.
Candidates met for one store can be suggested to another. Every French application imported from Gupy goes into the same candidate database in Delectus, and when a new store opens a role, prescreened sales associates who live nearby are suggested to you.
SMS and voice agents, prepared interviews
The agent introduces itself as an AI and asks for the candidate's consent before asking its questions. The conversation can also happen on WhatsApp. If there's no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls, and you're notified if the candidate still can't be reached. For interviews, the kit sets the questions and criteria, and the report analyzes the answers by topic.
Reporting back to the group
The subsidiary can show headquarters where its hiring stands, job by job, thanks to each role's kanban board and the interview reports. The criteria and kits are the same for every French store, which makes choices easy to explain. Decisions are still made by local managers, with material the group can review.
Gupy data stays untouched
The connection is read-only: Delectus picks up the subsidiary's jobs, applications and resumes without writing anything to Gupy. The imported data is hosted in the European Union and isn't used to train any model.
