What happens once profiles are identified
- Well-stocked pipelines. Sourcing works and pipelines fill up. Now you need to check who is really available and interested.
- Qualification that takes time. Every qualification conversation gets squeezed between two searches. Candidates wait, and the momentum of first contact fades.
- Interviews to assess the same way. Several recruiters and hiring managers are involved. Without a common framework, assessments can't be compared.
How the Gem integration works
- Connection authorized by an admin. During setup, a Gem admin authorizes Delectus to read your recruiting data.
- Read-only sync. Jobs, candidates and resumes arrive automatically. Gem is not changed.
- Qualification and interviews in Delectus. The agents qualify, interviews are equipped and summaries are written.
What does the Gem integration add?
Gem is a recruiting platform known for sourcing and candidate relationship management, used mostly by tech companies that do a lot of outbound recruiting. It helps recruiters identify profiles and track their pipelines.
The Delectus Gem integration comes right after. It reads your jobs and candidates without changing anything in Gem, hands qualification to AI agents, then equips the interview all the way to the summary.
Read every profile before qualifying it
Every synced resume is read by AI and compared with the role's criteria. The recruiter sees a match score and its reasons, a summary of the strengths and gaps for the role, and can query a profile with the AI chat. They know why a candidate deserves to be qualified first.
Qualification by text and phone
The SMS prescreening agent contacts shortlisted candidates, introduces itself as an AI and asks for their consent. It asks the job's questions, adjusts its tone for a hesitant or hurried candidate and files the answers in the candidate profile. If there is no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls. If the person still can't be reached, the recruiter takes over.
For a candidate who is currently employed, this format is often easier than a call during work hours. They reply when they can, and the meeting is booked into the recruiter's open slots.
Interviews equipped end to end
Delectus prepares an interview kit for each role, with questions and scoring criteria. The video interview is transcribed in real time, the tool suggests follow-up questions and a report by theme is produced at the end, with the passages that support each assessment. Recruiters and hiring managers decide on the same information.
Example: qualifying a list of sourced profiles
A recruiter has identified about thirty data engineers for a role. The profiles are tracked in Gem. In Delectus, each resume is compared with the role's criteria, and the closest matches are suggested first. The SMS prescreening agent contacts the ones the recruiter picks to check whether they're open to an offer and when they'd be available.
Within a few days, the recruiter knows who is really interested, without spending days on the phone. They spend their time on in-depth conversations with the most motivated candidates.
Data and transparency
The connection is limited to reading. Data is hosted in the European Union and is not used to train any model. The agents always say they are an AI.
Frequently asked questions
Does Delectus replace Gem?
No. Gem keeps its role in sourcing and pipeline tracking. Delectus adds qualification and interviews on top.
Does Delectus change data in Gem?
No. The integration is read-only.
How do I connect Gem to Delectus?
An admin authorizes read access during setup, then the sync runs automatically.
Are sourced candidates contacted automatically?
Only the ones you pick. The SMS agent writes to them, saying it is an AI and asking for their consent.
Can we review the qualification conversations?
Yes. The message history, the call transcripts and the summary are in the candidate profile.
