What loses you candidates in mass hiring
- Candidates who apply everywhere. For a store, warehouse or restaurant job, the candidate applies to several openings. Whoever calls back first often wins.
- Conditions to check for each one. Shifts, driver's license, work location, start date: the same questions come up for dozens of candidates.
- Interviews that are hard to schedule. Site managers have few open slots. The back-and-forth to set a meeting costs days.
How the Fountain integration works
- Connection authorized by an admin. During setup, a Fountain admin gives Delectus read access.
- Read-only sync. Jobs, applications and resumes arrive automatically. Fountain is not changed.
- The agents contact candidates. Prescreening by text or phone in French, and meetings booked into open slots.
The Fountain integration for high-volume hiring
Fountain is a platform built for high-volume hiring of frontline workers, in industries such as logistics, retail and food service, where candidates often apply from their phone.
The Delectus Fountain integration adds agents that talk with these candidates in French, by text or phone. Delectus reads applications without writing to Fountain and handles checking conditions and booking meetings.
Check the role's conditions by text
The SMS prescreening agent writes to the candidate right after they apply. It says it is an AI, asks for consent, then asks the job's questions, such as which shifts they accept, driver's license, how they'll get to work or when they can start. It spots a contradictory answer and asks for clarification. The conversation can also take place on WhatsApp, often more natural for these roles.
If there is no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls the candidate. If they still can't be reached, the recruiter is notified and takes over.
Book interviews without the back-and-forth
When the answers fit, the agent offers the candidate a meeting in the manager's actual open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams. The candidate picks one and gets a confirmation. The manager sees the answers already collected in the candidate profile and goes into the interview knowing the essentials.
Track every candidate at a glance
Candidates move through each job's kanban board, from the first message to the interview. A notification lets you know as soon as a candidate replies, and tasks can be assigned to a colleague, such as calling a candidate back or confirming attendance. Nothing gets lost between two sites or two recruiters.
Example: getting ready for a warehouse peak
A warehouse needs to hire order pickers before a peak period. Applications pour into Fountain. The SMS prescreening agent writes to every candidate to check which shifts they accept, how they'll get to work and when they can start.
Candidates who fit pick an interview slot from the site manager's availability. Those who don't reply are called by the voice agent. Every morning, the manager sees on the kanban board who is confirmed, who still needs to be reached and who has been interviewed.
Transparency for candidates
The agents always say they are an AI, and the candidate can stop the conversation at any time. Data is hosted in the European Union and is not used to train any model. AI neither selects nor rejects anyone; it collects answers for the recruiter.
Frequently asked questions
Does Delectus replace Fountain?
No. Fountain remains your recruiting platform. Delectus adds prescreening in French and meeting scheduling on top.
Does Delectus change data in Fountain?
No. The integration reads data read-only.
How do I connect Fountain to Delectus?
An admin authorizes read access during setup, then the sync runs automatically.
Can the agent communicate over WhatsApp?
Yes. Qualification can happen by text or on WhatsApp, following the same flow.
What happens if a candidate doesn't reply?
The agent sends two follow-ups, then the voice agent calls. If the candidate still can't be reached, the recruiter is alerted.
