What your software doesn't do for you
- Reading every resume. Application tracking is organized, but every resume still has to be read.
- Reaching candidates. Prescreening calls happen one at a time, between two meetings.
- Preparing the interview. The questions and the scorecard have to be rebuilt for every role.
How the Databites integration works
- Connection. During setup, a Databites admin authorizes the connection from Delectus.
- Sync. Job postings, applications and resumes come in automatically, read-only.
- Screening. Ranking, prescreening and interviews happen in Delectus.
Databites and Delectus: two distinct roles
Databites is the recruiting software where you manage your job postings and applications. Delectus adds to it, with read-only access, to do the selection work the software leaves to your team.
Nothing changes in how you're organized. Your jobs keep being posted and tracked as they are today, and you open Delectus to move forward on candidates.
This split avoids two pitfalls: double data entry, since the data comes in on its own, and version conflicts, since Delectus writes nothing to Databites. Your software remains the single system of record for jobs and their tracking.
What the Databites integration makes possible
Every application is read by the AI, compared with the job and ranked with its reasons. Past candidates in your database who match a new job are suggested too, so you don't start from scratch with every search.
Shortlisted candidates are contacted by the SMS prescreening agent, then by the voice prescreening agent if they don't reply. Each agent introduces itself as an AI and gets the candidate's consent. Answers are filed in the candidate profile, criterion by criterion.
How to get started with the Databites integration
Setup starts with authorizing the connection, done from Delectus by whoever administers Databites. Job postings and applications then come in automatically, and the team picks a first job to fine-tune the assessment criteria and the questions the agents will ask.
The first rankings take a few minutes to review, since each one comes with its reasons. If a criterion needs sharpening, you adjust it and the ranking follows. You then extend to other jobs, without changing how the team uses Databites.
Example: a job that gets lots of applications
An inside sales job gets several dozen applications in a few days. In Delectus, they're ranked as they arrive. The SMS prescreening agent texts the top-ranked candidates to check availability and salary expectations, and offers a slot to those who fit. The recruiter starts the following week with interviews already booked.
Meanwhile, lower-ranked candidates stay visible. The recruiter can review them at any time and move forward the ones they find interesting.
Data and transparency
Data is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models. The agents say they're AI and get the consent of the candidate, who can end the conversation at any time. No decision is made without your team, and every ranking comes with its reasons so it can be checked.
Retention periods follow your GDPR rules, and the history of every conversation stays available in the candidate profile.
An interview prepared for every role
Delectus builds an interview kit from the job posting, with questions and scoring criteria. During the video interview, the transcript is produced in real time and the tool suggests follow-ups. The final report, organized by theme, is easy to share with the manager.
