Job postings, applications and resumes from Abacus Umantis flow into Delectus. Nothing is changed in Abacus Umantis: you keep your ATS exactly as it is.

Highly structured hiring, but demanding

  • Lots of stages. Approving the need, posting, screening, interviews: each stage waits for the one before.
  • Applications in several languages. A company operating in French-speaking Switzerland and in France gets resumes in French, German and English.
  • Managers to convince quickly. The manager wants well-argued profiles, backed by concrete evidence.

How the Abacus Umantis integration works

  1. Connection. During setup, an Abacus Umantis admin authorizes the connection from Delectus.
  2. Sync. Job postings, applications and resumes come in read-only.
  3. Screening. Explained rankings, prescreening by the agents, assessed interviews.

What is Abacus Umantis?

Abacus Umantis is a Swiss talent management solution that includes a recruiting module, used by companies and public organizations.

The Abacus Umantis integration doesn't touch your processes or your HR data. Delectus receives, read-only, what it needs for selection: job postings, applications and resumes.

Compare resumes written in several languages

For a company hiring in French-speaking Switzerland, German-speaking Switzerland and France, resumes come in several languages and in all sorts of formats. Delectus reads them all the same way, turns them into structured profiles and compares them with the job's criteria. The fit score and its reasons let you compare a resume in German and one in French on the same basis.

The recruiter stays in control of every application. A lower-ranked profile stays visible and can move forward.

You can search the Delectus candidate database in everyday language, in French or English, and the tool suggests past candidates for every new job. For a specific question, the AI chat queries a profile: "Has he worked in Switzerland?", "Which languages does she speak?".

Prescreen shortlisted candidates

The SMS prescreening agent texts shortlisted candidates, introduces itself as an AI, asks for their consent and asks the job's questions: availability, work permit, mobility, expectations. If there's no reply, it follows up twice, then the voice prescreening agent calls. Answers are filed in the candidate profile, and an interview can be booked directly on the recruiter's calendar.

The agent also spots an answer that contradicts another, for example a stated availability that differs from the resume, and asks the candidate for clarification. The candidate profile only keeps verified information.

Setting up the Abacus Umantis integration

Whoever administers Abacus Umantis authorizes the connection from Delectus, and job postings and applications then come in automatically. The internal approvals you've configured stay in Abacus Umantis. Delectus comes in at the selection stage, once the job is posted.

For a first job, you set the assessment criteria and prescreening questions, check the rankings, then extend to other roles. Recruiters keep their core tool and add Delectus for screening, outreach and interviews.

Example: a role open in Geneva and Annecy

A company is hiring a financial controller for a role split between Geneva and Annecy. Applications come in French and English. Delectus ranks them on the same criteria, and the SMS prescreening agent checks shortlisted candidates' work permits and ability to move between the two sites. The manager gets a well-argued shortlist.

Well-argued interviews for the manager

The role's interview kit contains the questions and scoring criteria. The video interview is transcribed in real time, and the final report analyzes the answers by theme, quoting the candidate. The manager has concrete evidence to decide on.

Data is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models.

For a first round, the interview can be run by Alicia, the Delectus AI interviewer. The recruiter reviews the report and decides what's next. Later rounds are still run by your teams, with the same transcript and the same report.
