CATS integration: screen and prescreen your clients' candidates faster

The Delectus CATS integration picks up your agency's jobs, applications and resumes so AI can process them as soon as they arrive. Every resume is read and ranked, shortlisted candidates are prescreened by text or phone, and you present strong profiles faster.

Delectus AI

The agents take it from there

  • Resumes read, ranked and explained
  • SMS screening agent
  • Voice prescreening agent
  • AI-led or assisted interview
Job postings, applications and resumes from CATS flow into Delectus. Nothing is changed in CATS: you keep your ATS exactly as it is.

What slows recruiting down, even with CATS

  • High application volume. A well-placed job ad can bring in lots of applications within days. Screening them by hand slows everything else down.
  • Deadlines set by clients. A client expecting a shortlist by the end of the week doesn't leave time to read every resume in detail.
  • Profiles to reach one by one. Checking each candidate's interest and availability takes hours on the phone.

From CATS to Delectus in three steps

  1. Connection. During setup, an administrator authorizes access to CATS, with nothing to install.
  2. Sync. Jobs, candidates and their documents arrive in Delectus. CATS stays as it is.
  3. Work in Delectus. Resume reading, prescreening by text or phone, prepared interviews and client submissions.

How does the CATS integration work?

CATS is applicant tracking software used in particular by recruitment and staffing agencies. Setup starts with an authorization: an administrator on your CATS account approves access from Delectus. There's nothing to install, and your teams don't change their habits in CATS.

From then on, your jobs, candidates and their resumes arrive in Delectus automatically. Every resume is read by AI and becomes a structured profile, compared with open roles. The prescreening agents only contact the candidates you've shortlisted.

Each role's criteria and prescreening questions are set in Delectus. You can start with a single assignment to check the first rankings, adjust the criteria if needed, then extend to other roles once your recruiters have validated the results.

CATS and Delectus: who does what?

Delectus doesn't replace CATS. It handles the repetitive tasks that stand between a client request and a shortlist: finding profiles, checking their interest and conditions, preparing interviews and submissions.

In practice, your recruiters open a candidate profile where the resume is already analyzed, a summary lays out the profile's strengths and gaps, and the prescreening answers are sorted by criterion. The kanban board shows where every candidate stands, tasks are shared across the team and a notification flags every reply.

Screening CATS applications without rereading everything

Every resume picked up from CATS is compared with the role's criteria. You get a ranking with, for each candidate, a match score and the reasons behind it, plus a summary of their strengths and gaps. You read the closest profiles first, and check at a glance why each one is where it is.

No candidate is rejected without your decision. The ranking orders your reading; it doesn't decide for you.

Prescreening that keeps pace with clients

For shortlisted candidates, the SMS prescreening agent introduces itself as an AI, asks for the candidate's consent and asks the role's questions. It spots contradictory answers and follows up when information is missing. The conversation can also move to WhatsApp.

If there's no reply after two reminders, the voice agent calls. If the candidate still can't be reached, you're notified. Prescreened candidates get an interview offer in your open slots, and your shortlist comes together in a few days rather than two weeks.

Example: twenty order picker positions

An agency needs to fill twenty order picker positions for a warehouse. Applications come into CATS, then into Delectus, where they're ranked against the client's criteria: shifts, forklift certification, proximity to the site.

The SMS agent contacts shortlisted candidates, checks their availability for the shift schedule and offers an interview slot. The agency presents its first candidates to the client by day three.

What the integration changes, and doesn't change, in CATS

Nothing is changed in CATS. The connection reads your data without writing it back, and your teams keep managing clients and assignments there as before.

On the Delectus side, data is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models. Candidates are told they're talking to an AI, and decisions stay with your recruiters. Retention periods follow your own GDPR rules.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to leave CATS to use Delectus?

No. You keep CATS. Delectus fits into the way you work and takes on resume reading, prescreening and interview preparation.

Does Delectus change data in CATS?

No. The connection is read-only: Delectus picks up your jobs, candidates and their resumes without writing anything to CATS.

How long does it take to connect CATS?

The connection is made during setup, as soon as a CATS administrator has authorized access. Data then arrives with no double entry.

Does Delectus handle high-volume hiring?

Where is the synced data hosted?
