Daily life on a team that places a lot of people
- Lots of open jobs. Each recruiter handles several jobs at once, each with its own candidates, follow-ups and interviews.
- Screening that's hard to keep consistent. Two recruiters don't read a resume the same way. Rankings vary from one person to the next.
- Calendars that are hard to line up. Offer a slot, wait for a reply, offer another one: scheduling takes several emails.
How the Asymbl integration works
- Access. An administrator on your Asymbl account authorizes the connection from Delectus during setup.
- Read-only copy. Jobs, candidates and resumes arrive in Delectus, with no changes to Asymbl.
- Agents at work. Screening, prescreening and scheduling all happen in Delectus.
What does the Asymbl integration bring?
Asymbl is recruiting software. The integration makes your jobs and candidates available in Delectus, read-only, so resume analysis and the prescreening agents can be applied to them. Your Asymbl account is not changed.
Consistent screening for the whole team
The AI reads every resume the same way, against the job's criteria. The match score is broken down by criterion, which gives the whole team a shared basis for discussion. A recruiter who disagrees sees exactly on which point, and decides accordingly.
The criteria come from the job itself. When you adjust them, the ranking follows, and the agents ask the matching questions.
Consistent screening doesn't rule out personal judgment. A recruiter can always move forward a candidate they know, or one whose background convinced them on a particular detail. The notes and tags they add stay in the candidate profile and are visible to the whole team.
Prescreening handled by the agents
The SMS prescreening agent reaches out to shortlisted candidates, states that it's an AI and gets their consent. It asks the job's questions in natural language, follows up when an answer is missing and spots contradictions. If there's no reply after two reminders, the voice prescreening agent calls; if the call doesn't connect, the recruiter is alerted.
The questions are the job's, phrased in everyday language: availability, contract type, expected pay, relocation, or any other condition you define. The agent understands an answer like "probably the end of the month, I have to give notice" and asks for the exact date, then files the answer in the candidate profile, next to the other criteria.
Interviews booked in real open slots
The Delectus calendar syncs with Outlook and Teams. When a candidate is prescreened, the agent only offers slots where the recruiter is actually free. The candidate picks one, the interview shows up on the calendar, and a notification lets the recruiter know. Follow-up tasks can be assigned to a colleague right in the tool.
Example: a recruiter's week
On Monday, a recruiter picks up four jobs synced from Asymbl. In Delectus, each one has its own list of ranked candidates. They approve the profiles to contact for each job in an hour, instead of spending the morning reading resumes.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the agents prescreen the candidates and book interviews on their calendar. On Thursday, they run their interviews over video, with the transcript and the topic-by-topic report. On Friday, they send structured summaries to the hiring managers, and assign the last candidates to call back to a colleague as a task.
Getting started with the Asymbl integration
The connection is authorized by an Asymbl administrator during setup. You then start with one job, check the ranking and the prescreening questions with the recruiter involved, then extend to other jobs. Habits in Asymbl don't change, since Delectus writes nothing there.
Data protection
Data copied from Asymbl is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models. Candidates know they're talking to an AI, and the decision stays with the recruiter.
