IT staffing is a race against the clock
- Client requirements to fill the same day. When a client sends a requirement, the firm that submits the first good profile often wins the deal. Every hour counts.
- Tech stacks that are hard to read. A technical resume lists dozens of technologies. Knowing whether the candidate really used them, and recently, takes a careful read.
- Profiles to redo for every submission. Every client expects the consultant profile in their own format, focused on what matters to them.
How the Ceipal integration works
- Authorized access. An administrator on your Ceipal account authorizes the connection from Delectus during setup.
- Read-only sync. Requirements, candidates and resumes are copied into Delectus. Ceipal is not changed.
- Ranking and prescreening. Profiles are ranked, prescreened by the agents, then presented to the client with a generated profile.
What does the Ceipal integration do for an IT consulting firm?
Ceipal is recruiting software used by staffing companies and IT consulting firms to track their requirements and candidates. The integration brings that data into Delectus, read-only, to apply its analysis and its agents.
Your setup in Ceipal doesn't change. Delectus reads requirements, applications and resumes, and writes nothing back to your account.
Reading a technical resume against the client's requirement
The AI compares each resume with the requirement's criteria: must-have technologies, years of hands-on use, how recent the experience is, the client's industry. The match score is broken down criterion by criterion, so a developer who lists Kubernetes in a skills list doesn't rank above one who has run it in production for three years.
The AI chat lets you check a point before calling, like "has he worked on a cloud migration in banking?". The answer is grounded in the resume, with no guesswork.
Prescreening availability and day rate without endless calls
The SMS prescreening agent reaches out to shortlisted consultants, states that it's an AI and gets their consent. It checks availability, day rate or expected salary and willingness to relocate, and follows up when an answer stays vague. If there's no reply after two reminders, the voice prescreening agent calls, then the account manager is alerted if nobody picks up.
Answers land in the candidate profile, ready to be compared with the other profiles for the same requirement.
Generating the consultant profile for the client
The consultant profile is generated from the candidate's data, in your firm's format, highlighting the projects closest to the requirement. The account manager reviews it, adjusts it, then sends it as an export or a link the client opens without creating an account. Every version stays in the history.
Consultants put forward can also prepare for the client interview with an AI-led mock interview, and get a report on the points to work on.
Example: a Java requirement received at 10 a.m.
A client sends a requirement for a Java developer with payments experience. Synced from Ceipal, the requirement arrives in Delectus, which immediately suggests the closest consultants and past candidates, with their score and the reasons behind it. Consultants rolling off a project appear among them, which helps keep bench time down.
The account manager picks five. Within the hour, the SMS prescreening agent checks their availability and day rate; the voice agent calls the one who didn't reply. By noon, two consultant profiles, generated in the firm's format and focused on payments projects, have been reviewed and sent to the client.
Speed doesn't come at the expense of control. The account manager reviewed every ranking, picked every profile and approved every consultant profile before it went out.
Protected data
Data synced from Ceipal is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models. The agents always identify themselves as an AI, and putting a consultant forward to a client remains a human decision.
Frequently asked questions
