Mercury integration: put your candidate database to work

The Mercury integration brings the jobs and candidates you manage in Mercury into Delectus. Your database becomes searchable in everyday language, past candidates are suggested for every new job, and the SMS and voice agents check their interest before you pick up the phone.

Delectus AI

The agents take it from there

  • Resumes read, ranked and explained
  • SMS screening agent
  • Voice prescreening agent
  • AI-led or assisted interview
Job postings, applications and resumes from Mercury flow into Delectus. Nothing is changed in Mercury: you keep your ATS exactly as it is.

An underused candidate database

  • Years of profiles. Your database holds thousands of candidates you met for past jobs. Most of them are never contacted again.
  • Keyword search. You have to guess how each candidate described their job. Those who put it differently stay invisible.
  • Information that goes stale. A candidate you saw a year ago may have changed jobs, cities or goals. You need to check before putting them forward.

How the Mercury integration works

  1. Connection. An administrator on your Mercury account authorizes Delectus during setup.
  2. Sync. Jobs, candidates and resumes arrive in Delectus. Mercury is not changed.
  3. Reconnecting. Delectus suggests the right profiles and has its agents get back in touch with them.

Mercury integration: what is it?

Mercury is recruiting software. The integration links your account to Delectus so your jobs and candidates are available there, read-only. Your data in Mercury stays untouched.

The main benefit is your database: once Delectus has analyzed it, it becomes the first source of candidates for every new job.

Searching your database the way you talk

Every synced resume is read by AI and turned into a structured profile: experience, skills, education, languages, location. You can then type "structural site supervisors, Bordeaux area, used to crews of twenty" and see similar backgrounds come up, even if those exact words don't appear. Filters on experience, skills and location narrow down the list.

Each profile comes with a summary of its strengths and gaps for the role. The AI chat answers the specific questions you have before getting back in touch, for example "has he ever managed a team of more than ten people?", based on the resume.

Past candidates suggested for every job

When a new job comes in, Delectus searches the database on its own for candidates who fit it and suggests them with a score and the reasons behind it. A finalist who just missed out, a forgotten unsolicited application or a candidate who has grown since your last conversation can come back to the top.

The candidate profile keeps the memory: your notes, the salary discussed, the notice period, the conversation history. You know where you left off before getting back in touch.

Checking that a past candidate is still interested

Before putting someone forward, you need to know whether they're still available and interested. The SMS prescreening agent texts them, introduces itself as an AI and asks for their consent, then checks their current situation and asks the job's questions. If there's no reply after two reminders, the voice prescreening agent calls, and you're alerted if nobody answers. The answers update your view of the candidate in Delectus.

Example: reopening a site supervisor role

A company reopens a site supervisor role it filled two years earlier. Synced from Mercury, the job arrives in Delectus, which immediately suggests a dozen candidates you already know: finalists from back then, unsolicited applications, profiles met for similar roles.

The recruiter keeps eight. The SMS prescreening agent checks their situation and interest; five reply, and three are interested. Before even posting a job ad, the recruiter has three interviews on the calendar, with candidates who already know the company.

Data hosted in Europe

Data copied from Mercury is hosted in the European Union and is never used to train models. Retention periods follow your rules, and candidates who are contacted again are told they're talking to an AI.

How do I connect Mercury to Delectus?

An administrator on your Mercury account authorizes the connection from Delectus during setup.

Do I need to write Boolean queries to search?
