A candidate who just applied is available and motivated. That is the best time to talk to them. The SMS prescreening agent texts them, says it is an AI and asks for their consent, then asks the job's questions in a real conversation. Candidates can also reply on WhatsApp.
If there is no answer after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls them. If they still cannot be reached, you get notified. When the answers fit, the agent offers a meeting in your actual open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook or Teams. You find every answer in the candidate profile, word for word.

From the job description, Delectus prepares an interview kit with questions and scoring criteria. The first interview can be run by Alicia, the AI interviewer, or by a recruiter assisted by the agent, which transcribes the conversation in real time and suggests follow-up questions. The final report analyzes the answers by theme and quotes the passages that support each assessment.
