Applications from everywhere
- Multiple sources. Job posts, employee referrals, unsolicited applications: each channel brings its own candidates, rarely compared the same way.
- Referrals to handle with care. A candidate referred by a colleague expects a quick answer, and so does the colleague.
- Decisions that are hard to justify. Without shared criteria, it's hard to explain why one candidate moves forward and another doesn't.
How the RolePoint integration works
- You authorize the connection. During setup, an admin on your RolePoint account authorizes Delectus to read your jobs and applications.
- Applications arrive. Jobs, applications and resumes are pulled in automatically, read-only. Nothing is changed in RolePoint.
- Every profile is read the same way. Every resume is compared with the same job criteria, then the agents contact shortlisted candidates.
What does the Delectus RolePoint integration add?
RolePoint is a recruiting software companies use to manage their applications. It remains your tracking tool.
Delectus adds to it by putting everyone on an equal footing. Whether a candidate answered a job post or was referred, AI reads their resume against the same criteria, with a match score and the reasons behind it. The agents then handle first conversations.
The same criteria for every candidate
The job's criteria are the basis for the whole hiring process: screening, prescreening and the interview. Every ranking comes with its reasons, so you can explain a decision to the hiring manager as well as to the employee who referred someone.
A summary covers each profile's strengths and gaps. The AI chat lets you check a specific point in the resume, and the answer is based on the document.
Respond quickly to referred candidates
The SMS prescreening agent writes to shortlisted candidates within the day, introduces itself as an AI and asks for their consent, then asks the job's questions. It also communicates over WhatsApp, and the voice prescreening agent calls if messages go unanswered after two follow-ups. A referred candidate gets a quick response, and the employee who put them forward sees that the referral was taken seriously.
Example: a role filled through a referral
An engineering role receives applications from a job post and three internal referrals. Delectus reads all the resumes pulled from RolePoint against the same criteria. Two of the referred candidates come out on top, with their reasons, and the SMS agent qualifies them the same day. The hiring manager meets them with an interview kit and then compares the summaries on the same themes.
The employee who referred the person hired is quickly told the outcome. The other referrals stay in the candidate database, with their report, and are suggested again when a similar role opens.
Why shared criteria improve hiring quality
When every application is read against the same criteria, selection becomes fairer and easier to defend. The hiring manager sees why a candidate moves forward, the referred candidate is treated like everyone else, and the decision no longer depends on the order the resumes were opened in.
The criteria then carry through the whole process. The agent's prescreening questions and the interview kit follow from them, and the final report assesses candidates on those same points. It becomes possible to compare people from very different channels without losing the thread.
RolePoint integration: read-only
The connection changes nothing in RolePoint. Delectus reads your jobs, applications and resumes. The data retrieved is hosted in the European Union, is not used to train any model and follows your retention periods.
