What the recruiting module doesn't do for you
- Candidates who rarely read their email. For frontline roles, an email inviting someone to interview often goes unanswered for days.
- Hiring needs across several sites. Each site has its own open roles, and follow-up gets scattered among managers.
- Hours to check for everyone. Shift work, weekends, travel: these conditions get checked candidate by candidate.
How the Kenjo integration works
- You authorize the connection. During setup, a Kenjo admin authorizes Delectus to read your jobs and applications.
- Applications arrive in Delectus. Jobs, applications and resumes are imported automatically, read-only: nothing is changed in Kenjo.
- The agents take over. Each resume is compared to the job, then the prescreening agents contact the candidates you pick.
What does the Delectus Kenjo integration add?
Kenjo is HR software from Germany built for small and midsize businesses. It covers people management, time off, working hours and a recruiting module to track the candidates for each job.
Companies using Kenjo often have frontline teams, in stores, workshops or branches. Hiring for those roles means lots of applications and candidates who are hard to reach by email. Delectus picks up the applications from Kenjo, ranks them, then has candidates contacted by text or phone, the channel where they actually respond.
Nothing changes in how you work. You post your jobs in Kenjo as before, candidates apply through the same channels, and in Delectus you find applications already read, candidates already contacted and interviews ready to go. For a small business, it mostly means time given back to the people who hire on top of their actual job.
Screen Kenjo applications without rereading everything
Each resume imported from Kenjo is read by AI and compared to the job's criteria. You get a ranking where every candidate has a fit score and its reasons: experience close to the role, a must-have skill found in the resume, a compatible location.
No candidate is set aside without you. The ranking helps you read the closest candidates first, and a summary sums up each one's strengths and gaps. If you have a specific question about a candidate, the AI chat answers it from the resume.
Candidates contacted while you handle everything else
The SMS prescreening agent texts the candidates you shortlist. It says it's an AI, gets their consent, then checks the job's key points: availability, expectations, commute, working conditions. It adjusts its tone to a hesitant or a hurried candidate, and the conversation can also happen on WhatsApp.
A candidate who stays silent after two follow-ups gets a call from the voice prescreening agent, which holds a real phone conversation. The answers land in the candidate profile sorted by criterion, with the call transcript, and you're notified as soon as a candidate replies.
Example: a retail chain hiring for the season
A chain of fifteen stores opens sales associate roles for the holidays. Applications arrive in Kenjo, then in Delectus, ranked on retail experience and proximity to the store. The SMS agent asks each shortlisted candidate the job's questions, including Saturday hours, and offers a slot with the manager of the right store. Each manager only sees candidates who are available and nearby.
AI interview or assisted interview
Depending on the role, the first interview can be run by Alicia, the Delectus AI interviewer, at a time that suits the candidate, or by the manager over video with the agent transcribing and suggesting follow-up questions. Either way, the same kit of questions is the starting point and the final report covers the candidate's answers.
Kenjo integration: your HR data stays untouched
The connection is read-only and covers recruiting only. Delectus picks up your jobs, applications and resumes without writing anything to Kenjo. Your employee records, payroll and the rest of your HRIS stay outside its scope.
The imported data is hosted in the European Union and isn't used to train any model. It follows your retention periods, and the hiring decision always stays with your teams.

How do I connect Kenjo to Delectus?
