Hiring with Factorial day to day
- Hiring on top of your actual job. The manager doing the hiring reads applications in the evening, when they finally have a moment, and gets back to candidates late.
- Candidates who are hard to tell apart. For a role open to everyone, many resumes look alike. Comparing them on the same criteria takes a method nobody has time to set up.
- Candidates who don't pick up. Calling during the day is bad timing for someone who already has a job. Missed calls go back and forth for days.
How the Factorial integration works
- Access approved by your admin. During setup, they authorize Delectus to read the recruiting part of Factorial. There's nothing to install.
- Jobs and candidates imported. Jobs, applications and resumes come in automatically. The rest of your HRIS isn't involved.
- AI works on every job. Resumes are read and ranked, candidates prescreened by text or phone, interviews prepared.
What does the Delectus Factorial integration add?
Factorial is HR software from Spain, used by many small and midsize businesses, including in France. It brings together employee management, time off, time tracking and a recruiting module to post jobs and track candidates.
At a small business running Factorial, recruiting is rarely anyone's full-time job. The owner, a manager or the office manager handles it between other things. Delectus picks up what Factorial receives and gets the work ready: resumes are ranked with their reasons, shortlisted candidates are contacted, and all that's left is to run the right interviews.
Nothing changes in how you work. You post your jobs in Factorial as before, candidates apply through the same channels, and in Delectus you find applications already read, candidates already contacted and interviews ready to go. For a small business, it mostly means time given back to the people who hire on top of their actual job.
Resumes read and explained as soon as they arrive
As soon as an application lands in Factorial, it's picked up in Delectus, read and compared to the role. The fit score always comes with its reasons, so you can check in a few lines why a candidate is ranked at the top or further down.
Past candidates in your database aren't forgotten. When a new job resembles their background, they're suggested to you with the same explanations. You can also search the database in plain language and narrow it down by experience, skills or location.
Reach candidates at the right time
A candidate who already has a job responds more easily to a message than to a call in the middle of the day. The SMS prescreening agent texts them, introduces itself as an AI, asks for their consent and asks the job's questions. It can also schedule a call from the voice agent at the time the candidate chooses.
When a text goes unanswered after two follow-ups, the voice agent calls. If no one picks up, the recruiter is alerted. Meetings are then booked into your real open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams.
Example: a services company hiring two account managers
The owner of a 40-person company posts a job in Factorial and gets about sixty applications in a week. Delectus ranks them as they come in, explaining for each one what fits the role. The SMS agent texts the top twelve, checks their availability and hours, and offers a slot to the interested candidates. On Thursday, the owner meets six candidates, all already prescreened.
Prepared, comparable interviews
For each role, Delectus prepares an interview kit with the questions and scoring criteria. The interview can be run by Alicia, the AI interviewer, or by you over video, with a live transcript and suggested follow-up questions. At the end, a report by topic helps you compare candidates on the same basis.
Factorial integration: what Delectus reads, and what it leaves alone
Delectus reads the recruiting part of Factorial: jobs, applications and resumes. It writes nothing to your HRIS and doesn't touch employee records or payroll. Your HR team keeps working in Factorial as before.
Everything imported stays hosted in the European Union, isn't used to train any model and follows your retention periods. The agents collect and organize the answers, and your teams make the decisions.
