ATS integration

ApplicantPro integration: hire operators faster

The Delectus ApplicantPro integration picks up your jobs and applications so AI can read and rank them the moment they arrive. Shortlisted candidates are prescreened by text or phone, and your production teams meet candidates who have already been vetted.

Delectus AI

The agents take it from there

  • Resumes read, ranked and explained
  • SMS screening agent
  • Voice prescreening agent
  • AI-led or assisted interview
Job postings, applications and resumes from ApplicantPro flow into Delectus. Nothing is changed in ApplicantPro: you keep your ATS exactly as it is.

Hiring for production while the floor waits

  • Roles that can't stay empty. A production line without an operator means a late order. Every day of hiring counts.
  • Short resumes that say little. Many candidates describe their experience in two lines. You have to call them to find out whether they know shift work or rotating schedules.
  • A small HR team. Often one person handles the postings, the calls and the interview scheduling, on top of everything else.

How the ApplicantPro integration works

  1. You authorize access. An ApplicantPro admin approves the connection from Delectus during setup.
  2. Applications come in. Jobs, applications and resumes are imported automatically, read-only.
  3. The agents prescreen. Shortlisted candidates are contacted by text, then called if needed.

What does the Delectus ApplicantPro integration add?

ApplicantPro is recruiting software for small and midsize businesses that keeps job postings and applications in one place. Delectus adds the most time-consuming part on top of it: everything that starts once the application has arrived.

Each resume is read by AI and compared to the job's criteria, even when it's very short. The ranking shows what was found and what's missing, and the summary tells you in a few lines whether the candidate is worth a call.

Example: a food processing plant starting a night shift

A food processing plant needs to hire eight packaging operators for a new night shift. The postings go out from ApplicantPro, and applications pour in within a few days. Delectus picks them up and surfaces the candidates who have already worked in food processing or on off-hours schedules.

The SMS prescreening agent asks them the questions that really matter for this role: being OK with night work, getting to the site without public transit, being available on the start date. The answers land in the candidate profile. The production manager gets a short list of candidates who said yes to everything, and the agent offers them a time slot to visit the site.

The same work applies to the plant's other roles. For a machine setter or a maintenance technician, the criteria change, but the principle stays the same: AI reads the resumes, the agent asks the role's questions, and the manager only meets candidates who meet the requirements. Each search also leaves behind prescreened candidates for next time.

Prescreen by text, then by phone

The first message says it's an AI and asks for the candidate's consent. The agent understands hastily typed answers, follows up when information is missing and flags an answer that contradicts another one. If there's no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls. It filters out background noise, which helps when the candidate picks up from a shop floor or a car.

If the candidate still can't be reached, you're alerted and you take over.

Keep strong candidates for next time

Applications imported from ApplicantPro grow your candidate database in Delectus. When a new operator or forklift driver role opens, the candidates you've already met who fit are suggested to you. You can also search the database in plain language, for example "certified forklift operators available soon."

An interview built for production roles

An operator interview doesn't look like a manager interview. The kit Delectus prepares for these roles stays short and concrete: past positions, pace, safety, teamwork, punctuality. The floor supervisor can run it standing up, during the site tour, and note the answers in the candidate profile. The report then pulls together what was said, so the decision doesn't rest on a ten-minute impression alone.

Your ApplicantPro data stays untouched

The connection only reads. Nothing is written to ApplicantPro, and your postings and statuses stay as they are. The imported data is hosted in the European Union and isn't used to train any model.

Frequently asked questions

Does Delectus replace ApplicantPro?

No. ApplicantPro stays your posting and tracking tool. Delectus adds reading, prescreening and interview prep on top of it.

Does Delectus change data in ApplicantPro?

No. The connection is read-only.

How do I connect ApplicantPro to Delectus?

An admin on your ApplicantPro account authorizes access during setup, and applications then come in automatically.

Can the agent check requirements like night work?

Yes. The prescreening questions come from your job: hours, site, start date, driver's license or certification, depending on the role.

What happens if a candidate doesn't reply?

They get two text follow-ups, then a call from the voice agent. If they still can't be reached, you're notified.
