Hiring with Rippling day to day
- Automated onboarding, manual selection. Once the candidate is hired, everything flows. Before that, every resume is still read by hand.
- Distributed teams. Managers hire in several countries or cities, each with their own habits.
- Delays that cost you candidates. The most sought-after candidates get several offers and don't wait.
How the Rippling integration works
- Access approved by your admin. During setup, they authorize Delectus to read the recruiting part of Rippling. There's nothing to install.
- Jobs and candidates imported. Jobs, applications and resumes come in automatically. The rest of your HRIS isn't involved.
- AI works on every job. Resumes are read and ranked, candidates prescreened by text or phone, interviews prepared.
What does the Delectus Rippling integration add?
Rippling is a platform that brings together HR, payroll and employee IT management. Its recruiting module tracks jobs and candidates all the way to hire, which then kicks off the rest of the employee's onboarding.
With Rippling, everything after the hire is automated. What comes before still takes a lot of human time: reading applications, contacting candidates, scheduling interviews. Delectus takes on that part by picking up the jobs and applications from Rippling, without changing anything in it.
Your jobs are still posted from Rippling and your HR team keeps its habits. What changes is what recruiters and managers find when they open an application in Delectus: a resume already analyzed, a summary of strengths and gaps, and prescreening answers sorted by criterion.
Resumes read and explained as soon as they arrive
As soon as an application lands in Rippling, it's picked up in Delectus, read and compared to the role. The fit score always comes with its reasons, so you can check in a few lines why a candidate is ranked at the top or further down.
Past candidates in your database aren't forgotten. When a new job resembles their background, they're suggested to you with the same explanations. You can also search the database in plain language and narrow it down by experience, skills or location.
Reach candidates at the right time
A candidate who already has a job responds more easily to a message than to a call in the middle of the day. The SMS prescreening agent texts them, introduces itself as an AI, asks for their consent and asks the job's questions. It can also schedule a call from the voice agent at the time the candidate chooses.
When a text goes unanswered after two follow-ups, the voice agent calls. If no one picks up, the recruiter is alerted. Meetings are then booked into your real open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams.
Example: a startup opening an office in Paris
An American startup running Rippling is opening an office in Paris and hiring four people. Delectus ranks applications in French and English on each role's criteria and explains its choices. The SMS agent checks availability and work location with shortlisted candidates, and the team runs interviews over video with the transcript and a report by topic.
Prepared, comparable interviews
For each role, Delectus prepares an interview kit with the questions and scoring criteria. The interview can be run by Alicia, the AI interviewer, or by you over video, with a live transcript and suggested follow-up questions. At the end, a report by topic helps you compare candidates on the same basis.
Rippling integration: what Delectus reads, and what it leaves alone
Delectus reads the recruiting part of Rippling: jobs, applications and resumes. It writes nothing to your HRIS and doesn't touch employee records or payroll. Your HR team keeps working in Rippling as before.
Everything imported stays hosted in the European Union, isn't used to train any model and follows your retention periods. The agents collect and organize the answers, and your teams make the decisions.
