What slows down hiring at an IT consulting firm, even a well-equipped one
- A rich talent pool that's hard to search. Years of candidates in BoondManager, and yet you have to guess the right keywords to find the person who fits today's request.
- A race against other consulting firms. The client has often asked several firms. The first one to present an available, motivated consultant has a head start.
- Qualification by phone. Availability, daily rate or salary, willingness to relocate: checking these points for every profile takes up a good part of recruiters' day.
How the BoondManager integration works
- You authorize the connection. During setup, an admin of your BoondManager authorizes Delectus to read your candidates, their documents and your job posts.
- Your talent pool arrives in Delectus. Candidates, resumes and job posts are pulled in automatically. The connection is read-only: nothing is changed in Boond.
- AI works on every request. For every client request, the closest profiles are suggested with their reasons, then qualified by the agents.
What BoondManager does, what Delectus adds
The two tools complement each other at every step of hiring at an IT consulting firm.
| Step | In BoondManager | With Delectus |
|---|---|---|
| Talent pool | Candidates and their resumes are centralized | Every resume is read by AI and becomes searchable in plain language |
| Client request | The request is tracked on the sales side | The closest profiles are suggested with a score and reasons |
| Qualification | Calls and follow-ups by the team | SMS and voice prescreening agents, answers filed by criterion |
| Interview | Notes entered by the recruiter | Question kit, transcript and report by theme |
| Client profile | Formatted for every submission | Consultant profile generated in the firm's format, then reviewed |
BoondManager and Delectus, two different roles
BoondManager is a management software widely used by French IT consulting firms and consultancies. It covers sales, recruiting, and consultant and assignment tracking. Delectus doesn't try to replace it.
Delectus adds to the recruiting side. It reads the resumes in your talent pool, compares them with your clients' requests, contacts candidates to check their availability and helps you prepare interviews and profiles. Your teams keep BoondManager for everything else.
Find the right person in your Boond talent pool for a client request
When a client states a need, you describe it the way you would to a colleague, for example "senior Java Spring developer, banking sector, available within a month, Paris area." Delectus compares that description with every resume pulled from BoondManager and suggests the closest profiles, each with a match score and its reasons: a similar assignment, a technology present, a compatible location.
The search compares career paths rather than exact words. A candidate who wrote "JVM back-end" instead of "Java" still comes up. And when a new request resembles a past candidate's background, they're suggested to you without you having to think of them.
Qualify fast, ahead of other consulting firms
A profile you've found only helps if the person is available and interested. For the candidates you pick, the SMS prescreening agent sends a first message, introduces itself as an AI and asks for the candidate's consent, then asks the request's questions: availability date, salary expectations or daily rate, willingness to relocate, key skill. The conversation can also take place on WhatsApp.
If there is no reply after two follow-ups, the voice prescreening agent calls. If the person still can't be reached, you're notified and take over. Answers arrive filed by criterion in the candidate profile, and when they fit, the agent offers a meeting in your actual open slots, thanks to the calendar synced with Outlook and Teams.
From resume to the consultant profile sent to the client
Once the consultant is selected, the consultant profile is generated from their resume, in your firm's format. The assignments closest to the request come first, and the summary uses the vocabulary of the assignment description. The account manager reviews it, adjusts it, then sends it as an export or via a link the client opens without an account. Every version is kept.
Before the meeting, the consultant can practice for the client interview with a mock session: AI plays the client, asks the assignment's questions and gives them a report on what they need to prepare.
Example: a data request received on a Monday morning
A banking client is looking for a data engineer for an assignment that starts in three weeks. The recruiter describes the request in Delectus. Among the candidates pulled from BoondManager, about ten profiles come up, including two finalists from a search last year and a consultant who had applied on spec.
The SMS agent writes to the shortlisted profiles in the morning. By noon, four have replied, and two are available on the right date and within budget. The account manager runs both technical interviews in the afternoon, with the question kit and the transcript, then sends the client two consultant profiles that same evening.
BoondManager integration: your data stays untouched
The connection is read-only. Delectus pulls your candidates, their documents and your job posts, but writes nothing to BoondManager: your records, statuses and history stay as they are.
The data retrieved is hosted in the European Union and is not used to train any model. It follows your retention periods, and the decision always stays with your teams.
