Hiring when teams work around the clock
- Candidates working night shifts. A nursing assistant on a night schedule won't pick up at 10 a.m. Callbacks cross paths for days.
- Conditions to check before anything else. Credentials, unit experience, nights or weekends: without these answers, the interview is pointless.
- Managers with no time to screen. The nurse manager recruits between building schedules and a unit meeting.
How the Apploi integration works
- Connection authorized. An Apploi administrator grants access from Delectus.
- Applications read. Jobs, applications and resumes arrive in Delectus, with no changes to Apploi.
- Prescreening by the agents. Credentials, shifts, availability: the answers land in the candidate profile and the interview gets booked.
What is the Delectus Apploi integration?
Apploi is recruiting software known for its use in healthcare and home care.
The Apploi integration connects your account to Delectus, read-only. Your facilities' jobs and the applications they receive are read automatically. You keep posting in Apploi, and Delectus takes on screening and first conversations.
Reaching candidates who work off-hours shifts
The SMS prescreening agent texts the candidate, says it's an AI and asks for their consent. The person replies at the end of their shift or on their break. The questions are the job's: state certification, experience in a nursing home or hospital unit, night work, weekends, start date. The conversation can also happen on WhatsApp.
Would the candidate rather talk? The agent schedules a call from the voice agent at the time they choose. If there's no reply after two reminders, the voice agent calls on its own, then the recruiter is alerted if the call doesn't connect.
Example: a nursing home hiring nursing assistants
A nursing home posts a night-shift nursing assistant job in Apploi. Applications arrive in Delectus, where they're ranked on certification, geriatric experience and distance from the facility. The SMS prescreening agent texts the shortlisted candidates late in the morning. One candidate replies at 7 a.m., as she comes off her shift: she's certified, she's fine with nights and can start in three weeks.
The nurse manager finds her candidate profile completed and an interview offered in one of his open slots. He didn't have to call her back three times.
Respecting candidates and their data
Healthcare candidates get a lot of outreach. The agent says it's an AI in the very first message and asks for the candidate's consent before going any further. The candidate can end the conversation at any time. Answers are kept in your workspace, hosted in the European Union, and follow your retention periods.
Spotting profiles you already know
A facility often receives applications from nurses or nursing assistants it can't hire at the time. In Delectus, those resumes become searchable profiles. When a new position opens, similar past candidates are suggested with their match score, and the agent can check their availability before the job is even posted.
A better-prepared interview for the nurse manager
When the manager meets a candidate, they already have the completed candidate profile, the profile summary and a question kit specific to the role. The interview can take place over video in Delectus with a live transcript and a report organized by topic. The manager reads, compares and decides. Candidate data is hosted in the European Union.
Frequently asked questions
Does Delectus replace Apploi?
No. Apploi remains your tool for posting and tracking. Delectus works alongside it for prescreening and interview preparation.
Does Delectus change data in Apploi?
No. The sync is read-only.
How do I connect Apploi to Delectus?
An administrator on your Apploi account authorizes the connection from Delectus during setup.
Does the agent verify credentials?
It asks the candidate and records their answer in the candidate profile. Checking the actual documentation is still done by your team.
Can a candidate be called after their shift?
Yes. The candidate chooses the time of the call, and the voice agent calls them then.
